THE CHALLENGES
- In-patient ICU care is expensive & not readily-available for all, especially after the pandemic.
- There is a high risk of Hospital Acquired Infections from frequent exposure to the hospital environment.
- There is a lack of efficient home-care monitoring systems for patients with limited mobility.
- There is a lack of affordable ICU level care for patients from the comfort of their own home
THE OBJECTIVES
CHI offers a Virtual ICU medical home-care service for elderly, disabled & other patients requiring 24/7 critical care. The Virtual ICU is designed to remotely monitor & record ECG, Blood Pressure, Blood Glucose, Pulse rate, Oxygen Saturation & Temperature readings in real-time.
All recorded data is shared with the CHI Command Center, where the medical team observe the readings and provide effective and timely intervention as required.
In addition to real-time monitoring, CHI nurses also visit the patients for additional assistance. The frequency of the visits depend upon the patient’s condition & need.
